I was at dinner tonight, and my friend’s order came out wrong. They cooked steak instead of chicken.
The waiter offered to make the order right, by bringing out the chicken. However, my friend said that she did not want to waste food, so she ate the steak instead of the chicken that she really wanted.
Wasting food is sometimes hard for me. But, I also refuse to eat food that I dont want. If I can only eat a small amount of food, I would rather it taste good than to not taste good.
there are some WLSers that believe the opposite, that one should eat bland or boring food, so that food is not a major part of their lives. That food is for substance, rather than something to be enjoyed or savored. Part of the reason why I chose the VSG was specifically for the reason to be able to enjoy a wide variety of food. I did not want my food to be restricted by possible dumping. I did develop intolerances, but these were mostly temporary. (Except the lactose intolerance, which is annoying.)
